New Guidebook for Venture Companies

A high-ranking public official has published a guidebook for medium-sized venture companies.
The author of 'Hopeful Chorus @ A New Beginning' is Jung Jae-hoon, head of the Financial Assistance Division at the Small and Medium Business Administration.
Jung has passed 26 various civil service exams and has worked at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Energy, before joining the Small and Medium Business Administration.
The book is based on his accumulated notes, written during his years in public office.
Jung says, "Whenever I see small- and medium-sized businesses suffering from a lack of capital, I think of my father, still working hard at the age of 70 operating the family business."
In the book, Jung shows his compassion for upstart venture companies, but does not back away from giving harsh advice.
He emphasizes that "operational money can be medicine or poison, depending on how you use it." Jung learned this the hard way, directing financial assistance to small and medium businesses from February of 1998, immediately following the foreign exchange crisis:
