Poet Kim Ji-ha to Give TV Lectures

A dissident poet in the 1970's, Kim Ji-ha is to give television lectures in October.
The Educational Broadcasting System (EBS) announced on September 23 that the poet Kim is to give lectures as part of its series 'Watching the World' in October.
A source at the EBS said, 'He will discuss his recently developed 'Yullio' philosophy and his new cultural movement.'
The subjects of his lectures will be 'Let's talk about our agenda' (October 4), 'Develop the Yullio' (October 11), 'Multi-Tankun' (October 18) and 'Shinsi and Hwabaek' (October 25).
In his lectures, Kim will point out the limits of western culture, which he considers to have dominated much of the world, and provoke discussions on 'Yullio', an idea of circulation and rhythm between humanity and the universe.
