Professor Kang Jun Man Gives up Criticizing a Certain Paper

Professor of Chun Buk National University, Kang Jun Man, famous for his aggressive writing, said in his own monthly journal 'Man and Idea' published in June, 'I will stop denouncing a certain newspaper and persons attached to that newspaper through my writings and lectures.'
The Professor explained that, 'my articles were excessive and as a result, I am exhausted.' However, he insisted that he will continue to critisize general politics, society and journalism.
The decisive moment of his change in direction was the criticism of his writing made by the Professor of Hanil Theological Seminary University, Kim Sung Ki, in June. Professor Kim's expression 'pride and prejudice' made the aggressive writer review his own articles, Professor Kang said.
He added, 'I am ready to suffer all the consequences for my apostasy. I'd like to advance as a intellectual rather than a movement activist. I apologize to the persons hurt by my writings. I will never again go to such extremes.'
