Ricky Martin to Perform in SeoulRicky Martin, dubbed the "prince of Latino pop music" will perform at Seoul's Chamshil Olympic Main Stadium on October 7 at 7:30 P.M.
The performance is special because it is the first time ever that a big Latino musician such as Martin will performing in Korea. The concert is expected to be the biggest performance in Korea since the Micheal Jackson concert in 1996.
Kim Ji-yeon, chief of the performance planning company 'Excess,' said, "Since the concert is expected to be very big, we thought that Chamshil Main Stadium was the right place."
Ricky Martin is planning a large-scale event in which there will be 20 dancers, 15 percussionists, and a performance by stuntmen.
The Seoul performance has been in the works since the beginning of the year, the performance was almost cancelled along with Martin's entire East-West Asian tour. However, Martin ultimately decided to stop by Korea as well Japan.
