SBS Airs Documentary on Plight of Koreans in Russia

The Seoul Broadcasting System(SBS) will air a documentary on Koreans in Russia at 10:50 pm on November 20.
SBS will focus on the Koreans whom Stalin's government forced to move from east Russia to Central Asia in 1937. They now suffer from resurgent Islamic nationalism since the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics(USSR) collapsed.
Notably, many Koreans in Tajikistan have lost their homes and jobs simply because they cannot speak the Tajik language.
The documentary suggests that the government and Korean citizens should make all efforts to help Koreans struggling in Russia.
