SBS, Celebrity Union Reconcile
SBS and the Korea Broadcast Artists' Union (KABU) have officially reconciled after solving disputes resulting from SBS's decision to air 'News Chase - Secret Deals Between Celebrities and Brokers.' This show contained the stories of many celebrities' involvement in prostitution. High-ranking SBS officials met with KABU chief Lee Kyong-ho several times and reportedely handed over an official letter of appology to the union.In the letter, SBS stated, "We'd like to express our deepest regrets for undermining celebrities' good reputations." The celebrity union accepted KBS's official apology and have ended put their signature collecting campaign to boycott all SBS programs.
