SBS Defeats MBC in July"s TV Drama Competition

Seoul Broadcasting System(SBS) has been defeating Munhwa Bradcasting Corporation (MBC) in hot TV drama competition between them in July.
SBS's drama 'Ghost' which airs at 9:55 p.m. every Monday and Tuesday from July 12 was surveyed to have a 10 percent higher viewership than MBC's rival drama 'The Last War'.
On Wednesday and Tuesday nights, SBS's 'Happy Together' broadcasted since the middle of last month has exceeded MBC's drama in the same time slot by more than 10 percent in popularity and it accounted for the top two rankings in total program ratings.
An official at MBC said that MBC was not totally defeated by SBC in the summer TV drama competion because the season is not even halfway finished, and although the popularity of SBS's dramas are higher MBC could stage a comeback.
