Samsung Leaders Busy Learning Internet

About 800 executive members of Samsung Group have been busy acquainting themselves with a new business partner, the 'Internet'.
Aviation and Data System and other Samsung subsidiaries officially launched a two-day program jampacked with lectures, including one on the history and evolution of the Internet, as well as marketing seminars.
Executives learn about Internet customers and their tendencies and how to capitalize on the explosion of Internet businesses and usage.
Group leaders are especially interested in Internet marketing. As the current number of Internet users has already reached 6 million and is easily expected to surpass 10 million within a year, a great deal of promise is being attached to 'Millennium Marketing' strategies for companies.
This is also the very first lecture for all directors within a group rather than a restricted program. Samsung hopes it is heading for the new millenium firmly in the forefront of marketing.
