The headquarters of the National Unification Movement of the Young Korean Academy announced on Thursday that it will hold the second Cutural Festival for Korean Youth Friendship between Korea and China at towns with large Korean populations in China, including Yenji, from August 17 to August 20.
Seventy-five people from Korea and 180 expatriate Korean residents living in China are due to attend the cultural festival, which is the second overseas culture exchange event after the Korean Children's Friendly Soccer Game, also organized by the NUM headquarters, was held in China last year.
The festival includes various cultural programs including an exhibition of student works and a folk contest promoting the identity of Korean people.
It will include visits to many tourist resorts including Mt. Paekdu.
