Seoul-Pyongyang Music Festival Proposed

An international exchange music festival which both South and North Korea participate is in the proposal stage.
President Bae Kyong Hwan of the CNA event company on May 12 said, 'We have been examining the possibility of holding a global event either Seoul and Pyongyang or in both locations, hopefully in July or September.'
'We already opened a bank account last week in Macao for fund transactions and a schedule will be determined soon.'
CNA Korea obtained approval for the project from the government in April and it will invite the Pyongyang National Philharmonic to the event.
