Special Deals To Cheju for June and July

Even though summer has arrived to the Korean peninsula, the high season for travelling does not start until August. Cheju island, the large resort island off the southern coast, is a prime example of the absence of vacationers during June and July.

So, in conjunction with national air carriers, travel agencies are offering special rates and packages to rustle up more business.

Daejangjung Travel Agency, a travel agency specializing in Cheju-bound travel, is offering packages with discounts or free accomodation and rental cars. Customers opting for their packages can select from the 'Blue Roof', the 'Caribbean' Resort, or the 'Sea Villa' for their accomodation and can use a propane-powered 'Leganza'. Also, mountain bikes can be rented for exploring the island. Fuel will be provided without cost with customers being fully refunded the amount of fuel used upon returning the car at the airport and submitting gas station receipts.

For a three-day stay with departure between July 1 and July 8, the package goes for 135,000 won($120) per person round-trip.

Another package being offered gives free accomodation if customers rent a car during their vacation, with departure from July 1st to July 14th. For two days, packages are going for 157,000 won($140) and 244,000 won($220) for three days. This, however, does not include airfare.
