"Taekwon V" Animation to Be Screened Again
The animation 'Taekwon V', which gained popularity from the nation since the first edition was made in 1976, will be revealed to its fans again this weekend.A Korean Internet firm, Thrunet, has decided to invite 1,000 people to the animations to be screened at Chungang Cinema in downtown Seoul on October 23 and 24.
The animation event, jointly hosted by 'Animation Village', an association on the Thrunet site, and the webgine (website magazine) 'Anima 21', will be held to commemorate the discovery of original 'Taekwon V' films.
The first and third edition of the 'Taekwon V' animations, regarded as the best of the total 5 works, are to be run at the theater.
North Korean animations, which were difficult for animation fans to view because they were classified as X-rated, will also be specially screened.
