The 9th International Modern Dance Festival to Be Held in Korea

Delfos Modern Dance Group, which is a popular dance group from Mexico in Latin America, is planning to present several performaces for Korean fans. Delfos Modern Dance Group has been honored 4 times for its outstanding choreography by the Mexican Art Association since its 1992 establishment. Participating in 'The 9th International Modern Dance Festival' (perfomances May 25, 26, and 28) Delfos will perform on May 25 and 26 in the grand hall of Munye Theater.

The material for their performances is extraordinary such as in 'Feast' which is about cannibals and love and 'Secret of Okasis,' a story about the search for a way to return an out of orbit planet back to its correct place in space.

The key to viewing the performances is to pay special attention to its Latin American rhythms and movements.

At the festival, which is hosted by 'The Modern Dance Association of Korea', 9 Korean and 3 foreign groups, for a total of 12 groups, will be performing 15 pieces. In addition to Delfos Modern Dance Group, groups such as Expressions Dance Company from Australia, Un Yamada Dance Company from Japan, and Yang Jeong-su Mille Modern Dance Group will be performing at the festival.

Since the foreign dance groups have never performed in Korea before, this is a great chance to check out some of the best modern dance in the world.
