Tongdaemun Market Opens Internet Clothes Store

Shoppers can now buy clothes sold at Tongdaemun Market via the Internet. E-commerce company FSCM announced that it is to open a Tongdaemun fashion website (www.fscm.co.kr) on May 1 offering fashions from some of the largest and most popular stores in the market. Products ordered from this site will be delivered anywhere in Korea within 24 hours.

FSCM held an e-commerce strategic cooperation ceremony to celebrate the opening of the Tongdaemun clothes website on April 14 in the Westin Chosun Hotel. Along with FSCM, the site will feature fashions from nine enterprises, including the Pro-Fashion Information Network, Migliore, Tongdaemun Market, Designers' Club and the Pyounghwa Clothing Market.

The website will offer three-dimensional pictures of clothes for sale over the Tongdaemun Market Internet site. Goods purchased through the site will be delivered by Korea Express Parcel Service.

FSCM said that they plan to sell products domestically this year, but will expand operations overseas next year.
