Top 20 Women Designers Selected
On April 20, Korea's top 20 female fashion designers were selected. At the 'Millennium Women Economists Fashion Fair' which began on April 18, the Small and Medium Business Administration honored 20 women designers who have contributed the most to the development of the Korean fashion industry. The women were chosen by a team of Korean fashion experts.The group of judges comprised 108 experts in the fashion industry including fashion buyers, fashion photographers, scholars, and model agents. Among the winners were Kim Yon-joo, Moon Kwang-ja, Lee Young-hee, Jin Te-ok, Park Ji-won, and Woo Young-mi. The winners' works will be displayed at a four-day fair at the Fashion Center which is being promoted by the Korea Fashion Association.
