Twentieth Workers" Performance Festival to Be Held

The 20th Workers' Performance Festival is to be held from August 21 to October 21 at various venues, including the Performance Hall at the Korea Labor Welfare Corporation in Seoul.
Many Korean laborers will put on display the impressive skills which they have perfected while at work, for the performance festival, which was established in 1988.
More than 400 laborers from 25 workers' dramatic groups across the nation, including Sungjon of Samsung Electronics Co and Ami of Hyundai Eelectronics Co., will participate in the festival.
Dramas including 'Housewives' Strikes', which tells a story of women's rights and roles in a discriminative world, and 'Men Taking off Their Clothes', which deals with the lives of workers laid off by large companies, will be staged at tha festival.
In addition, a variety of musicals including 'Gospel' and 'The First Subway Line' will be revealed.
