Yoon Suk-hwa, a well-known Korean theater actress, has taken over the monthly music and performing arts magazine 'Auditorium'.
The actress made a contract to purchase the monthly magazine with publisher Ye-Eum Foundation on condition that she accounts for the wages and retirement allowances of employees of the magazine, unpaid by the foundation over the past 14 months.
'Auditorium' magazine, first published in 1984, published a total number of 185 editions as of July, 1999. However, the magazine has sought a new owner due to losses of 10 million won per month and its mother company facing financial difficulties.
