Yoon Yi Sang"s Opera to be Staged in Korea

The world-renowned composer, Yoon Yi Sang, who was a leading light in Korea's democratization and unification movement while he lived in Germany before his death there in 1995, will be once again cheered on a Korean stage through his opera, titled 'Shim Chung.'
The Seoul Arts Center on January 7 announced that it will put the opera on stage from May 20 to June 8. The entire cast will be determined by an open audition.
