'm-net' To Enter the Japanese Market

'M-net,' a music cable TV channel (CH 27), will begin broadcasting in Japan. M-net said that they acquired permission from the Japanese government, and they will begin to air their channel this June after establishing 'm-net Japan' as a pay channel airing Korean pop songs.

'M-net Japan' has a plan to air newly produced programs in the Japanese language along with Korean shows with Japanese captions. The Korean shows to be aired in Japan include 'Rhythm Paradise,' a very popular variety show currently on air on the Korean 'm-net' channel, 'Korean Pop Songs Top 27,' '2000 Power Plant for Korean Pop Songs,' and 'Hot Line School.'
