This summer many amusement parks in Korea are offering a variety of programs at discount prices. Some offer special rates for holders of certain credit cards or for late-night visitors. If you are looking for some thrifty ways to have fun, here are some suggestions.

Lotte World

Lotte World, an amusement park located in Jamsil, Seoul, offers a 30 percent discount on admission between 5 p.m. and 10 p.m. This year, the park is also celebrating its 12th anniversary by offering free admission worth 25,000 won (about $19) in the month of July to visitors born on July 12. On Saturday nights at the park during the summer, fireworks displays light up the sky.

This summer, Seoulland is holding a range of events under the title "Moulin Rouge Fantasy," and a variety of including parades and performances.
