Some of the best animated films from the Great White North come to Seoul on Friday in the "Canada Animation Festival 2002." The films, compiled by the National Film Board of Canada, will be screened at the Seoul Animation Center, near downtown, and will run through Wednesday. Featured are more than 50 experimental and new works by Canadian artists, including "Strange Invaders," the latest by Cordell Barker. Also in the lineup is "Neighbors," an early work by the groundbreaking animation artist Norman McLaren. The animator Ishu Patel, who was born in India and now lives in the United States, will be at the event. For information, call 02-3455-8484.
