&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Hijacked e-mail address

I was surprised and shocked when I was checking my e-mail a few days ago. My mailbox was full of returned mail.

While checking, I found out that I had never wrote so much mail to other people. The returned mail was due to mail blocks. So I checked the content. To my surprise the mail were filled with extremely vulgar sexual material that dazed me as I looked at it.

Somebody had used my ID to send their advertisements. Who ever did this was not only bothering other people with obscene mail, but my name was being defaced at the same time. It was obvious that the practice would continue, so I had to change my ID and register anew. It took me hours to inform my friends about my changed e-mail address.

An e-mail ID is the name that represents me on the Web. This type of abuse must disappear and be forbidden.
