&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Role of U.S. is to clean up the world

I would like to set the record straight on one of your opinion pieces (“In a nuclear age, anxiety expands,” Lee Hong-koo, Thursday). The only part you got right about America is that America won the Cold War. The world is a safer place because of that. However, we are not in severe shock, nor do we believe military supremacy gaurantees our security. We believe that rogue states doing whatever they want must be stopped, and make no mistake, they will be stopped. We are supported by other nations, including your own.
I hope that when your last president is done polishing his Nobel Peace Prize he will be able to look at his reflection in it. I believe he will see a man who left a mess for America to clean up. Make no mistake, we will clean it up.
