&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Don’t forget children will suffer most

I am 11 years old and I am very worried. I read recently that America was sending bombers to South Korea, a move that could really affect this nation. Many of my friends are worried that maybe the United States will go to war against North Korea.
I think this is something that the governments of South Korea and the United States need to think about, not only about how this would affect their own country but also the effect on children like me who are from other countries.
We all know about the two Korean girls who were crushed to death last June when they were run over by an American military vehicle. The accident caused a lot of hard feelings in Korea. The way Koreans view America and Americans view Korea seems to be changing in a bad way. This affects the Americans who love Korea and its beautiful environment.
I am a Korean-American, so if America and Korea come apart, I will feel as though I am coming apart, too.
It makes me feel sad that something like this could happen.
