Late last month I went to the “luxury” section of a department store located in Gangnam district. I bought a pair of sunglasses for 264,000 won. The store said the original price was 330,000 won.
Last week I saw the same sunglasses in the “general” section of the store. The sunglasses were on sale there for 240,000 won.
I asked a store official about the absurdity of the same product priced differently in the same store. “Goods in the luxury section were supplied by a different delivery route,” the official said.
All the sunglasses in the luxury section did not have price tags. I suspect that they cheated on the prices there, ripping me off.
