&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Visitors find students rude

My class and I have returned from a short excursion in Seoul. I was ashamed, embarrassed and disappointed as I returned to our school.
In our travels, we saw many Korean school students. Their behavior toward us was dreadful, shocking to us all. They would swear at us, point and yell at us for no good reason. Their only excuse for this demeanor would be because we were from a foreign school and some of us were foreigners. Even foreign-school students who were Korean received this treatment. It not only embarrasses Korea, but also hurts Korea’s reputation for being friendly. I hope Korean students will read this editorial and change their behavior.
