Handmade to Order crafts a show at Park

The launch party for the Loewe Handmade to Order Collection was all about the Spanish passion for fashion. A slew of top models, led by Korean super model Park Dul-sun, presented elegant leather coats, jackets, skirts and pants for men and women at Park, the new Cheongdam-dong restaurant and lounge.
First launched in Japan a dozen years ago, the Handmade to Order Collection featured 30 samples made of napa, mink, chinchilla, suede and lambskin. Orders can be made until the end of June at the Loewe boutique (02-3479-1809) in the Shinsegae Department Store in Gangnam or the Loewe main office (02-3441-6451/2). Measurements are sent to Loewe’s manufacturing center in Barcelona. Completed items will be delivered to customers in November.
Following the fashion show, the owners of Park, fashion designer Park Ji-won and Min Kyung-sik, hosted a cocktail reception featuring two flamenco dancers. Guests included Ho Cho, the chief executive officer of LVMH Korea, and Elena Castro, the executive merchandiser of the Spanish brand MNG.
