[LETTERS TO THE EDITORΤ youths and a lesson
Published: 28 Jul. 2003, 00:20
A man in a wheelchair did not know what to do in front of the stairs of Jonggak Station in Seoul. I pretended not to see him but two young men went back to help him.
They were willing to help a person in need while others were ignoring him. I felt ashamed of myself for feeling annoyed with a handicapped person who was getting in the way during rush hour. The two young men made me realize how self-centered I was; there is hope for our society when there are young people who would give their hand to the needy.
