&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93No assistance for disabled

I took my disabled mother to the Seoul Express Bus Terminal Friday. We had to buy tickets on the second floor of the terminal and then go down to the first floor to get on the bus. There was an elevator for the disabled, but it wouldn’t move. No one appeared when we pressed a call button. A passing security guard said the elevator had been out of order for several days. In the end, we missed the bus, after I had to help my mother down a stairway to the first floor. After waiting another 30 minutes, we boarded another bus. I may not use that terminal in the future.
