[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Let radios fly to the North
I thought it was strange that the police prevented a German doctor, Norbert Vollertsen from sending radios by balloon to North Korea. The police said that Mr. Vollertsen did not report his gathering as a demonstration but it was not necessary for the police to stop him from sending radios for a good cause. Many people and charity organizations send rice, fertilizer and even money, so why not radios? People in the two Koreas should get to know each other to achieve unification, and he was trying to help the North Koreans get to know us.
It was shocking to watch the German doctor suppressed by the Korean police.
