&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93 Send the GIs back home, he says

Okay, JoongAng Daily, where is the “fair and balanced” coverage of the games at Daegu?
I read in Dong-A Ilbo that a South Korean crowd booed at length as the American volleyball team came onto the floor to play North Korea. Why nothing in your paper about that?
I read of the Minister of Culture begging South Koreans to stop antagonizing the North Koreans; I read nothing of his distress about the abuse of South Korea’s main protector and ally.
I don’t want an apology from President Roh Moo-hyun, the Daegu mayor, or the minister ― I want the United States out of Korea.
For the life of me I cannot see any reason for the United States to remain there. The “Communist War Against Civilization” is over; the communists lost. It’s time to bring the troops home.
