&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Smokers should be considerate

My family went out to have dinner in a restaurant recently. But I noticed that unpleasant smoke was flowing from the next seat, where two men were smoking and drinking soju. They would not stop smoking, producing stinging fumes, which made my daughter keep coughing and have to get out of the restaurant. The rest of my family members followed my daughter and could not finish our meal.
Since July, smokers are more strictly restricted under the government’s policy which decreased smoking zones sharply.
And smoking is harmful to smokers themselves, and to others who are affected by secondhand smoke. Thus, every smoker should think about where they are and whether the place is appropriate for smoking.
They should consider that nonsmokers would suffer from the unpleasant fumes, especially in a tiny place where people are eating.
There are as many nonsmokers as smokers in the country.
