&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93One head is not outbreak

I read your article on banned Canadian beef in Saturday’s paper. Please note that there was no outbreak of bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or mad cow disease, in Canada.
I don’t think one animal constitutes an outbreak and there have not been any new cases or any additional infected animals since the one identified animal. There was only the one positively identified case of this disease. Again, ONE. Also, the government took actions to destroy herds that were in contact with the one diseased animal.
You should have your facts straight before writing such nonsense.
