&#91LETTERS TO THE EDITOR&#93Set dates for college entry

It is very confusing that the early admissions periods of about 200 colleges and universities are different from one another. The timetables are overly complex, so whether a student can get into the college he wants to attend depends on his having adequate information about those early application dates.
Early admissions should be reviewed and adjudicated at fixed times, just as regular admissions schedules are. That would make it easier for teachers to advise students how to proceed.
I hope Education Ministry will consider this.
