[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Innocents should not die in Iraq
Published: 15 Dec. 2003, 23:33
The recent article “Two Men Slain in Iraq Are Back Home” speaks of the death of the two men killed in an insurgent ambush in Iraq early this month.
Why should the lives of these innocent men be sacrificed? President Roh himself or the Korean government, before deciding to send our soldiers there, should be able to answer this question.
I hereby give my government a clear message ― don’t send innocent people to Iraq, because it is a place where death awaits us.
The families’ sorrow and grief over the men’s tragic deaths cannot be cured until justice is served in Iraq.
