[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Foreign schools misused

Many Korean parents try frantically to send their child to an international school here. I don’t support what they are doing for a few reasons.
An international school’s purpose is mainly to provide a school for students who have reasons to come to the school other than learning English.
I came to Korea and attend an international school because my father got a job here. I believe that international schools are here for students like me, students who speak only English and so on. Some schools are starting to weaken in their purpose. Many students attend these international schools because their parents want to send their children to a school where there will be a “taste” of the United States and where they can learn English.
