[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Respect the books
I frequently drop by a big bookstore near my home. It was a lovely sight to see a group of children sitting on the floor reading books. But many of those children handle books roughly, licking their fingers to turn pages or crumpling the pages. Some are careful; others are not. That is why some bookstores seal books in plastic.
Parents are responsible for educating their children.
It is important to remember that those books belong to the bookstore until they are paid for. By educating children in such a simple lesson, youngsters could automatically learn good public manners.
