[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Everybody can help to save expensive natural gas, oil
As international oil prices skyrocket, the government has implemented Phase 1 of its plan to save energy. I would like to suggest lowering of indoor temperatures. If we do so, we could save a lot of natural gas and oil that is being used by the boilers in apartments and other buildings.Moreover, incandescent electric lights should be changed to fluorescent lights, unused lights in empty rooms should be turned off, and using only 60 percent of the refrigerator space can save energy.
