Last Saturday, I went to see the festivities that were part of the Hi Seoul Festival.Many people, including quite a few foreign tourists, had turned up for ceremonies hours before the start. In order to have a better view, my family decided to wait in the rain.
But when the ceremony began, people who had been waiting under the roofs rudely tried to get better seats in front of the people who had been waiting.
It is saddening when I think of the impression this sight made on foreign tourists.
