More government interference on daily lives. Why not allow the marketplace to dictate whether a doctor has the right to practice?I do not know the statistics and would be interested in finding out how many doctors in Korea speak Korean only compared to those who can’t. I have been in Korea eight years now and visited untold clinics in search of a doctor who speaks English well enough.
It would be a matter of seconds for a Korean to discover his doctor can’t speak Korean and two minutes more to locate one who can. If Koreans do not want the non-Korean doctor, they easily may choose another without government dictates.
Such government heavy-handedness only further alienates foreigners in Korea and isolates Korea from the rest of the world even further.
