[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]South needs to toughen up
I am really getting tired of hearing how strong the North Korean military is. Perhaps they are very smart in one way: that no country would dare to invade it. History shows that “power against power” is the only way to defend against an enemy. During the Cold War, the Soviet Union wouldn’t have dared to invade the West. So where is South Korea’s military might? Come on South Korea, wake up. You should start to do some serious thinking about your military strength, to show the world that countries like North Korea or China wouldn’t dare tease South Korea.by Marc Byun
