[LETTERS TO THE EDITOR]Looking for pen pals

An young ha sae yo, Korean Friends,
I am a Korean linguist from the United States. I am a Caucasian with no Korean roots. I was trained while I was in the U.S. military to read, write, speak and love the Korean language. Subsequently, I fell in love with the Korean people and culture as well. My instructors were all native Koreans who immigrated to the United States.
I am writing this letter to ask for your help. I was medically discharged from the military without ever having the chance to go to Korea. I have since moved to Idaho. There are no Koreans in my area, thus my language skills are deteriorating. I am attending college and am studying to become an English teacher and hope to someday teach in Korea for a while.
I am looking for some Korean pen pals (either e-mail or snail-mail, but preferably snail mail so I can practice writing Korean).
It would mean a great deal to me if anyone can help me in my quest. Kam sa hab ni da. Ko mab sub ni da.
My email is harpotatorheads@earthlink.net
