Two of the South Korean hostages were released by the Taliban in Ghazni Province, Afghanistan on Aug. 13. The release is the first breakthrough in the crisis that began with the kidnapping of 23 aid workers on July 19. [AP]

탈레반에 억류됐던 한국인 인질 두 명이 8월21일 아프가니스탄 가즈니주에서 풀려났다. 이번 석방은 지난 7월19일 한국인 봉사단원 23명의 피랍으로 시작된 인질사태에서 처음 들려온 희소식이다.
