In this sequel to 2004’s “Alien vs. Predator,” the setting for this parade of intergalactic monsters switches from desolate Antarctica to suburban Colorado in the United States. “Requiem” opens as predator heads home in its spaceship. Its journey changes course, however, when a hybrid alien/predator bursts out of a predator’s chest. When the spaceship crashes in the suburbs, several monsters called facehuggers escape and infect a man and his son. This sets off a chain reaction of infections, wreaking havoc in the town. As aliens threaten to take over the town, the predators send in their own force. An epic battle between the extraterrestrial nemeses breaks out, causing destruction and bloodshed for humans and monsters alike. The U.S. government sends in troops to put an end to the mayhem. But will humans be able to stand up against these supreme bad guys?

The Best Moment of Our Lives (G)

Handball isn’t the most glamorous sport in the Olympics, but this film about the Korean national handball players is about guts and glory. Although Korea won handball gold medals at the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games, a lack of public interest in the sport cause the team’s support to dwindle. To make matters worse, the team fell to second place in 1996 and failed to win a medal in 2000. The results forced the players to retire from the sport and return to mundane lives. But as the 2004 Olympics in Athens approaches, a former team member, Hye-kyeong (Kim Jeong-eun), hopes to reassemble the team for one last shot at gold. It’s not all fun and games for Hye-kyeong as she faces reluctant teammates and her rival, Mi-suk (Mun So-ri).

Life is hard for Ami (Kim Min-hui), a 27-year-old writer. She’s been working on the same scenario for a year and she’s fed up with her boyfriend (Kim Heung-su). In need of support, she visits her sister Yeong-mi (Lee Mi-suk), who lives with her daughter Gang-ae (An So-hui).
But Yeong-mi provides no comfort to her younger sister. She just berates Ami for being incompetent. In an effort to spice things up, Ami leaves her boyfriend for a new man, a confident and reliable accountant named Seung-won (Kim Seong-su). But when Seung-won proposes marriage, Ami is forced to make some tough decisions about her life.
