우리 정치판에는 가짜 달인들이 늘 넘친다. 총선에서 드러난 뉴타운 공약 남발도 그렇고, 당선되자마자 구설에 오르다가 곧 구속까지 당하는 비례대표 당선자들과 그 배후의 모습을 보면 더 그렇다. 한번 뭔가를 내질러 정치적 효과를 거두면 그만이라는 생각들이다. 뻔히 내다보이는 거짓과 위선에 대한 비웃음. 개그코너 ‘달인’이 유행하고 인구에 회자하는 데는 그만큼의 이유가 있는 것이다.

ⓑ The rumors Rumors 모든 사람들이 다 알고 있는 소문을 나타내는 것이 아니므로 the 삭제
ⓒ on about ‘~에 대한’ 소문에 어울리는 전치사는 about. 참고로 on은 주제가 명확하거나 진지하게 내용에 대해 이야기할 때 쓰임
ⓓ to do doing ‘~ 하려는’ 의도가 아니라, 실제로 무언가를 하는 행위를 나타내고 있으므로 동명사형으로 수정
