자신감



하지만 자신감이 지나치면 계획을 잘못 세우기 쉽다. 정부가 어떤 프로젝트를 추진할 때도 마찬가지다. 호주 정부는 57년 시드니 오페라하우스 건립을 추진했다. 700만 달러를 들여 63년까지 완공한다는 계획이었다. 실제로는 1억2000만 달러를 들인 후 73년에야 개관했다. 규모를 원래 계획보다 훨씬 축소시켰는데도 말이다.
