[TALK OF THE TOWN]Pianist Eddie Higgins is set for an October date in ‘Mac Jazz Festival’

Jazz pianist Eddie Higgins, 76, is coming to town. He is one of the main performers at the “2008 Mac Jazz Festival” and is scheduled to play on the evening of Oct. 11, at the Mapo Art Center in Daeheung-dong, northern Seoul.

Higgins started his career in the 1950s at London House, a jazz club in Chicago. The jazz festival also stages jazz musicians Inger Marie from Norway and Na Youn-seon from Korea.
