Abbagirls, the original English ABBA tribute band, hopes to lap up some of the gold dust generated by the film “Mamma Mia!”
Abbagirls Kim Graham (Anni-Frid) and Gilda Kristian (Agnetha) will perform at the KBS 88 Gymnasium Lifelong Education Center in Deungchon-dong, western Seoul, on Nov. 29.
Abbagirls held a concert with Imagine the Beatles, another tribute band, in Korea in March.
Expect ABBA classics like “Dancing Queen,” “I Have a Dream” and “Waterloo.”
Abbagirls have been performing regularly in Las Vegas. The group has staged some 3,000 concerts in 20 countries so far.
Tickets range from 20,000 won ($17.55) to 55,000 won. For more information, call (02) 701-7511.
