[LETTERS]Obama’s most important step

Barack Obama, who was elected as the next president of the United States, should be more clear about his policies regarding the economy. During the campaign, he was rather vague about his policies most of the time. He had good words but they were not enough to satisfy people who are terrified of economic devastation. Now that he has been elected, Obama should show his capacity to lead the recovery of the world economy by first making his words more clear and direct. Moreover, he should keep promises he made during the campaign. It will be difficult but it must be done.

If these two things aren’t done simultaneously, Obama would not only lose the trust of the people but he will not be able to rewrite the history of black people. With one month left until he steps into the White House, this is his only chance.
