Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (12)

After their journey to Madagascar, Alex the lion (Ben Stiller), Marty the zebra (Chris Rock), Gloria the hippo (Jada Pinkett Smith), and Melman the giraffe (David Schwimmer) head back to New York City on Air Penguin. However, because of a lack of fuel they land in an unknown world which turns out to be the real wilds of Africa.

In Africa they each meet new friends. Alex reunites with his long-lost parents; Marty meets companions who are just his kind of zebra. Melman, who’s been suffering from melancholia, is worshipped as a sorcerer, and the chic hippo Gloria falls in love with hot Motomoto (will.i.am). But the peaceful land of Africa is thrown into chaos because of a drought. Can our four animal musketeers save the wild life?



The Mutant Chronicles (18)

The task falls to eight warriors to save the Earth as prophesized by the Chronicles. Following the guidance of the Chronicles, they begin a war against the outer space mutants.



Defiance (15)

Based on a true story, this movie is an epic tale of family, honor, and vengeance in World War II.

Three brothers, Tuvia (Daniel Craig), Zus (Liev Schreiber), and Asael (Jamie Bell) fight against the Nazis. They are shocked by the massacre of Jews in Poland.

Tuvia kills some Nazi soldiers and the brothers flee into the Belarussian mountains, where they gain a following of Jews with nowhere else to turn. Zus is alarmed by the number of people gathering, afraid they will be detected. He leaves the refuge and joins the Russian army.

Tuvia and Asael try their best to give the people a normal life, opening a school and holding festivals. But how long can this happiness last before they are discovered by the Nazis?



Antonio Vivaldi (12)

His passion for music doesn’t stop there; he challenges the establishment and succeeds.

However, as he has given up his life as a clergyman the Venice Parish blocks his way to success, and his chronic illness threatens his life as a musician.

As the canine star of a hit TV show, Bolt (John Travolta) lives every day with adventure, danger and intrigue - while he’s on camera. This pampered pooch begins an odyssey to reach the arms of his owner and co-star Penny (Miley Cyrus). But unfortunately for Bolt, off camera, he doesn’t have the same super powers he boasts on TV. As he travels, he picks up some friends along the way: Mittens (Susie Essman), a discarded house cat, and Rhino (Mark Walton), a hamster.

Can Bolt overcome his delusions and find his way home? Or will he be just another washed-up star who can’t cut it in the real world?



The Day the Earth Stood Still (12)

This is a remake of a renowned sci-fi classic. Living as a single mother, scientist Helen Benson (Jennifer Connelly) one day finds herself in a group of scientists summoned by the government. Their mission: to help Earth survive the impact of a foreign object from space. But as fate would have it, the object is in fact a spacecraft that lands safely in New York. Its inhabitant is Klaatu (Keanu Reeves), an alien in the form of a man who is there to decide whether Earth is still inhabitable, despite the damage that humans had caused.

Klaatu finds himself targeted by the U.S. Secretary of Defense (Kathy Bates), who is determined to get rid of him. Helen and her son (Jaden Smith) find themselves caught in the middle of this epic political battle.



Australia (12)

An English aristocrat, Lady Sarah Ashley (Nicole Kidman), goes to Australia to sell off the sprawling outback property she’s inherited from her deceased husband.

For help, Lady Sarah hires a rugged drover, (Hugh Jackman). Along the way, she ends up finding love - of the romantic variety with the drover, and of the maternal kind in Nullah, a mixed-race boy whom she seeks to adopt.
